Glassfusion
Glass: unique material with fascinating aspects.
During this workshop which will cover 5 days, we will work with different techniques to create objects with Glass. There will be Glass sticks in different colors and enamel powders. The techniques you will learn:
- The different enamel techniques and applications
- Basics about "glassfusion": the melting and shaping of plain glass in the oven
There will be a lot of attention on the qualifications of the different types of glass, so you will discover what you can't do with it or can do.
Glass, in all its form is an unique material. You will make acquaintance with Glass in all its variety, the many options of shaping as there are, and the wide spectrum of will give a know-how about this material. This will be a good basic experience to a follow-up workshop in future, to get yourself specialised in glass fusion. All though this workshop is not focused on the final result, but more or less based on the technical side of it, you will make all kind of beautiful objects. This Workshop will be for 5 days from 10 am - 12 am, luscious lunch, 2 pm - 4 pm.
The price for this workshop will be 350 euro p/p (inclusive all material and lunch). From 8 to 15 persons max.

...the fascinating inter twine of colour and structure...
Since 1990 she is active in Art Decoration. The amazing inter-action of structure and color will always be a never ending challenge for her. It all started once with Painting on Silk for Interior Design. Such as: materials and curtains, decoration, as well for exclusive fashion.
Her great interest in the rich tradition of Mosaic Art, specially the "Mores" traditional art. Since 1995 she worked mainly with Mosaic. She made a lot of Mosaic Art by assignment, developed her own art-work and from then on the workshops in her studio started.
In 2000 she wanted also to develop her technique in traditional Fresco Painting. She joined an intensive workshop given by an Italian Specialist/Artist in Venice. This was exactly the basic knowledge she wanted for her project, commissions were there and she made this unique way of painting her own. The combination of Mosaic and Fresco is very fascinating and knows a beautiful contrast.
A new love appeared recently, a couple of years ago: working with Glass, by burner and in a fusion oven, as well as Enamel. The same theme is coming back every time in Anjos artwork: ....the fascinating inter twine of color and structure. More and more you can see how this will develop in the future; it will be a combination of techniques in Objects as well as in Interior Design.
